Internet poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling blackjack than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the dealer broadcasting "No further bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course all of the other gamblers are given five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original bet, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the casino. After the bet is the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus an amount in accordance with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The bank pays out chips equal to your bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
